Programs list issues
« on: November 24, 2013, 11:47:26 am »

A lot of the Anim8tor plugins found on the programs lists were on Geocites and Lycos and they're offline.  Does anyone know where I can find these (They're URLs do not work):
Crowds
Grass Gen
Rain Maker (VBR)
Hydraulic Arm Animator
Telescoping Bone Animator
Particle Waterfall Creator(VBR)
Treegen Ultra(VBR)
Mesh Maker(VBR)
Ic2An8
Trueblur
watergen
map8or
Figurecombine

I got the names from http://homepage.ntlworld.com/w.watson3/main/an8ProgList.html but few links work.  If anyone knows where I can find them and/or good alternatives, that'll be great.

I maintain a few of these at my own anim8or site  www.anim8orworld.com/Forum/index.php?topic=127.0

Most were on Geocities which has now gone.

Often Web pages which have disappeared can be found by specifying the old URL in the search field at http://web.archive.org/

They've been backing up the publicly accessible Web since 1996.

yEs and nO! ... they don't do that for any and every page available on-line, also they don't capture every update made to a web pages and they don't host file other then of common usual web file extension (they keep mostly html, css, js file that are related to a web page; you may try other like zip, exe but will be a matter of luck)
