What do you mean?  As in a screenshot?  That's simple enough already, you can just press the PrtSc button and go to your favorite image editing programe, resize/crop and you're good to go.

Do you mean like if you rotate the view you want it to save the file with that rotation still in place?

that's what i thought he meant.  i'm not sure how much i'd use that, but i guess it'd be cool to have it there just in case.

Hmm... early versions of Corel had a "Save options settings" function, to personalise defaults.  Not a bad idea, I suppose, if it allowed you to set window configurations, like views, materials window on and set to "file", n-gon defaults, etc.  Kinda low priority though, when there are things like physics engines and animateable materials to come.....
