I tried giving it the weak red light behind it, but it wasn't working out well.  So, I guess it's done.  It was just something to have a little fun with and I think it looks cool.

"options>info" in object mode, and "faces" would be the poly count UNLESS someone's talking about a game model or lowpoly model.  Then they normally mean tri count, though they may say this.  that means how many triangles are in the model, as all polygons can be made up of triangles.

Sort of makes me think of a mellowed/toned down version of a thing called the "Shrike," from a set of sci-fi books I read...
