any plans for gltf format?
« on: November 17, 2021, 02:08:12 am »

Hi just as the title says-  any plans to implement gltf export?  This is the format Godot prefers,  Currently from anim8or I export as obj then import that in blender (which I do not like using) to export as gltf or as collada dae formats.

Thanks

That could be useful. I'll look into it.

Awesome.  Godot natively uses gltf for its scenes and it's user base is growing very fast.  So it exports and imports scenes as gltf.  Obj files do not import textures into Godot.  Collada files kinda work.

Thanks

Do you have "Fast Select" enabled or disabled? I assume that this in the Object editor.

+1 for me too. Preffered format for WebVR work I do. I currently use the same workflow as jbskaggs.
