When I transfered a texture into anim8or, it apeared darker than the orignal image. Does anyone know the reason for this? ???

Have you tried playing with the Material settings Ambient and Diffuse of your texture, it can make all the difference.

increase the ambient value, and then render it.

sometimes things don't look that different until you render.
