ok i got this model heres the description can anyone tell me why i cant like move the individual body parts

This model is a fully rigged Marine. It has simple animation bones inside the mesh, skin modifier in the skin, and has everything connected to a dummy object for easy movement. The mesh is not my design, its from Halo: Combat Evolved basic Marine mesh.

ok yeah i need some help

In scene mode move the bones to the position you want then click on a different part of the time line and go back to the frame the you had just posed and it should have assumed the desired pose.  Oh, and make sure you've click the putton with the key on it it should be green.

Did you add limits to the bones?
Double click a bone and you should see X, Y and Z and then Min-Default-Max.

First, when you have more to add, please edit your previous post if you're going to end up making multiple comments.  It makes it much easier for people.

Second, what you're talking about is called skinning.  There's a method using envelopes and a method using painted weights where you basically assign what bones will affect what part of the mesh.  I would advise using painted weights as you have much more control.
You can find a good tutorial in the beginner and one in the intermediate section here on skinning.
