maybe it's a bit sad of me, but i love reading movie credits.  especially on films which have good music to accompany them, e.g. anything by John Williams :)

good first anim8tion, btw!

well, we finished the vid.  it's actually the third in an ongoing series, but the first two didn't have much anim8or in them really.  if you're just interested in the anim8or bits, then]here's the film on its own, or if you want to see the whole trilogy,st?p=F0D33A931E0523D1]here's a playlist.  hope you enjoy  8)

fellow youtubers: ratings, comments and subscriptions are always appreciated  ;D

snowmen don't have legs.  not to mention that adding them would mean a lot more hard work.  frosty's fine as is  :)

you should try doing antialiased renders - they take a bit longer, but look a lot better.

hmm.  haunted boat  :o  (well, it's moving without anybody in it, so what else could it be?!!)

i'll second ensoniq's point about the reflection.  otherwise very nice vid though.

Finished Works and Works in Progress / The Great YouTube Directory Thread
« on: January 25, 2008, 11:16:06 am »
i've noticed quite a few of us seem to be on youtube, and we've got various youtube links scattered in several threads on this board.  so i thought, why don't we set up a single thread where everyone who has a youtube account posts a reply with a link to their channel, so we have a centralised 'directory' which lets us all find everyone else's videos quickly and easily?

no "i've got a problem" posts here, just "here's where to see my vids".  please  ;D

anyway, here's mine to start with: username: thecolclough  ::]YouTube channel: thecolclough

hope this works...

wow!  very cool indeed.  i'm a lazy so-and-so and i've never even tried to model anything with that level of accuracy!   ::)  would be nice to see it with some textures and things put back on, of course, but that's still a really good model.

well i'd say they're worth the work.  i particularly like the twisty effect on the tall pieces.  looking forward to seeing the finished scene!

i'd offer to help with finding a painting, but i'm afraid i don't know very much about things like that  8p
