Thanks guys for all the comments. You know Colclough, I just realized that we are both 20. Thats funny. Anim8or since 02 too. Yeah so I will hopefully have some more up soon.

What a doob! He looks as if he could end up in some cool adventures. Maybe meet up with other doobs with missing bits or go looking for his missing bits, yet never find them, but always searching and ending up in exciting adventures with unexpected results. Fun times. It's cool to be a doob.

Very nice, great little character. The expressionless face means that you have to use clear body language to express emotions, and you have certainly done that in the first two pics. The lack of legs makes me wonder how minimally defined a character can be while still being perceived as a character rather than a collection of body parts, because this little bloke is certainly perceived as a complete figure, even with the gaps. Makes me think of Rayman a bit, in method if not actual appearance.
I would love to see an animation with this character, and to see how you can use body movement to portray emotion in the absence of facial expression. The current contest at http://animanon.com/Forum/index.php?board=97.0 is based on this concept. It is about to close, but I would still like to see what you can do with "Doob"

Thanks yet again for the comments. And to Ensoniq5, I am actually in the process of animating him now, so I will be posting more action shots and some video content today. Thanks for your enthusiasm though guys. I forgot how this forum can cure artistic block.
