[ COMPLETE ] Challenge #15: ...and then there was light.

<< < (5/14) > >>

$imon:
3Dgeek; what do you mean blending it with the ground? Maybe what can help is what I advised Tof; adding an AO layer to it.

I made a quick render too, just to enter something! A notary lamp!

Small contrast correction in photoshop.

light setup: one local + one spotlight in the lamp itself,
two spotlights shining through a moon-shaped hole in a mesh to create the 'reflection of light' under the lamp.

edit; See next page for updates!

floyd86:
Nice renders you all!

I do have to remind all of you to add a screenshot of you light-setup!! Otherwise we can't tell which part is photoshop and what not...

$imon:
Oops floyd, I added it now ! ;)

Tof:
Nice start everyone!
Here are my final render and my printscreen (cameraview complete, front view to show lights and camera, AO pass, and the one shot render color - shadows - highlights).
There are two after effects:
first: blending the color render and the AO
second: a little gausian blur to make everything smoother
Now only time for my (real) work to the deadline...Good luck to all

Josmic8or:
Awwwwwwww man!
You all did a great job!  :)
It's hard to pick the best  :-\  :'(
