oh. then whats the other option called? i thought it was skinning but i kinda ignore it and go straight to wieght paints. im sure that works just as well if not better but i found it hard to select the points on the inner cylinder difficult to get a hold of. but with wieght painting its kind of a hassle to select verts cause it will go right through so u really cant just go on the left or right view and cover 1 leg or something cause ull cover both legs. but if i were u i would try both of them out and see what works best for u. i think they both work but its more of a preference.

and i gotta stop reading and writing to this forum while im drunk i missed ur quote twice now. i just read it after i typed all that. ☺
