I believe what he means is that he'd like it so that you could load peoples scripts, but also define a hotkey for them so that you don't have to go to the dropdown list of the scripts every time, or press the button every time. There are already hotkeys for built-in things for anim8or, but none can be defined by the user, and that would be nice. So by shortcuts he means hotkeys I believe.

oh well one problem w/ that might be if there is a shortcut in anim8or and you make that shortcut your hotkey than it willnot be so good for anim8or.

If this feature was implimented, my guess would be that anim8or would check hotkeys first and it wouldn't let you use a hotkey if it was already used.

This is already possible! Go to scene mode, enable the animation button (the green key) and use the scale tool... Create as many key frames as you need or make up a controller script ;D

ah, yes, but it'd be nice to have the controls included in the element's main properties dialogue, the same as the location and orientation controls are, wouldn't it. conversely, it'd also be nice to have orientation controls in the properties dialogue for components in object mode. ;D
