Some stuff i made.

I like the most recent scene. As a crit, you need to get rid of the texture stretching on the table!
Also, have you experimented with the v0.97 ART raytracer? It can do wonders for your renders and create very beautiful images!

Fixed the texture, and no. i haven't tried it yet. I'll get at it right away :) probably post a new render tomorrow.

It actually took me some time. i made some cylinders, cut them into smaller pieces, and used a modifier to bend them. then i copied it and put one of the same right next to it (because the wire is double), and at last i put all the pieces together

if you want to make a wire like that in the future there is an easier way!
start by drawing a curved spline in whatever shape you want the wire to be bent in. then goto: Build>primitives>N-gon set a value of about 60. draw a circle the size you want the diameter of the wire to be. then select the circle and go to: Build>Extrude and for the axis select "path" can use whatever you want on the other settings and then click OK. the final step is to click on the curved spline. you should have a wire like object. remember that if you want it to look better you should manipulate the points on the Z axis before you extrude the circle.

sounds good b3dman, but isn't a 60-sided cylinder a little high-poly for a thin wire?
