i got past that problem and made the eggplant... but now it wont open properly it just leaves a blank space on the screen

right- when i download on my vista laptop it works and then when i open the file its just a white space >=[ which is a problem because i can't do anything. it annoys me even more than i do

ok-i'm new to anim8or. When i download it, I have unzipped it, my laptop just says anim*or has stopped working and wont open. I am on vista if that helps at all. I have absolutely no idea what's going on. My general approach is PANIC! plz reply i'm bored of waiting lol.
