Anim8or Community

Whatever you want to call it how do you make one. i know theres a certain path you use but i dont know how to make text fly in from nowhere. So can someone please help me out?

EDIT: Ok i figured out how to get the object into the sequence part. Also figured out thats where you animate it. Now i just need help on how to move the figure once in sequence mode.

EDIT: EDIT: Ok now that i know everything but one thing...how do i make another frame??? for example on the bar it has the black squar meaning frame(according to the manual) there is one at the beginning on the :00 then right after the next slash so like a :00.1 sec. after how do i add another frame there? Just click the animate button because i did and it didnt work for me. i tried everything i can think of. thanks for the vid and manual. they really helped me out.

I would have to say yes because thats how it is in all the other 3D programs that ive used, some of them where pretty close to being just like Anim8or but failed. they were VERY VERY simple to use. i used to make tons of things with particles and they always turned out perfect. any other way just made it look like crap. All the programs were abandon though so they were shut down and i was forced to find a new program and now here i am. anyways, yes particles in my opinion is the best way to go.

PS, off topic but about the c++ thing. Do you know any programs that a beginner with c++ can use to just do a few samples and tests then do bigger projects? I would prefer them to be free if possible.

i can do this. ummm only thing is is where do i get the textures? just go google rusty or somthing and put the picture i want on my computer?

So if i wanted to make a tutorial and have it on the tutorial page...do i have to either type or make a video tutorial and submit it to Anim8or? or just type up or make a video tutorial and put it on a website(mine of course)? if its the last one how do i tell people the link to the tutorial?

Ok....i just started messing around with this last night. The only thing i have done so far is make an Egg Plant. I was wondering if there was anywhere i can go for Easy beginner tutorials if so can some one please give me the URL of some. Or maybe just run me through the basics. i know what almost every tool is used for and how to use it just not 100% perfect at anything.

Also if someone can tell me how or where i can get a texture that wraps around the 3d model without repeating any piece of the texture.
