General Anim8or Forum / removing smooth interpolation
« on: August 06, 2011, 09:43:26 pm »
I was wondering If it was possible in anim8or to remove the smooth interpolation of textures as they are scaled? As in, use nearest-neighbour interpolation instead.

General Anim8or Forum / Low poly (quake style) body tutorial?
« on: September 23, 2009, 05:30:13 am »
I've been searching around various places for a while and I can't seem to find a tutorial for making rather low polygon models like in QUAKE/QUAKE 2.

If anyone could point one out or provide some tips themselves, that would be great.

Cheers,

Inky

PNG would be a really great addition to anim8or, I must admit.

ASL Scripts / morph targets go haywire?
« on: August 23, 2009, 03:40:47 pm »
I edit my object, and I do everything right for the warp modifier, but when I go to re-view the morph target's changes, the object's points go haywire!

any suggestions?
edit: merging points seems to have created some success.

okay, that's helped a little, but for some reason my two models specifically won't  unsubdivide.

I could put it up here, I suppose.

okay, I got that too, but they all have the same two errors.

line (insert number here): sign ";" expected
(same number as before): undefined identifier "attribute"

I figure these are simple errors, but it's weird, because all THREE of them have the same errors.

I'm using the latest version (0.95c), so maybe it's something wrong with that?

ASL Scripts / possible script; desubdivide faces?

well, obviously, I'm new here, but I was wondering if there was a working script for "desubdividing" faces in anim8or.
I've seen two called "poly reducer" and "untriangulate" but they both have the same errors strangely. (the triangulate script on this site works fine.) So, I was wondering, if there was a working script out there, or something at least. my object has WAY too many faces (440320) and takes up 73,900,000 bytes
