I likes it, sort of half spaceship, half old fashionedy plane!

keep up the good work!

ps. Just checked out your site, got some awesome models on there and the first remake of Serenity which is just Awesome! lol nice work

Thanks. The last picture was of the Fireball XL5 which was featured in the early 1960s TV show "Fireball XL5" it was one of Gerry Anderson's first puppet shows.

I did do a Firefly inspired ship which you can see in the Anim8or Gallery #15 on this site but I don't have it pictured on my site. The one you must be referring to is my original model I call a "Firefly Sport" which is very small and can actually fit in the cargo bay of my Firefly ship. Although I have a number of original designs for Orbiter I find that people generally like space ships from TV and movies so most of my models are inspired by those found on TV and movies. Two add-on ships I will be releasing in the next few days are a cargo ship based on the Raptor from Battle Star Galactica and a shuttle from Stargate Universe. The first model I pictured in this thread is completely original and I may also release it sometime this week.

Ah......
You want a "Flat Outline" view.
I mostly model in that view mode.
Here is one in that mode although they all look better in the simulation. ;D

I should add that Shaders are off in that picture.

Anim8or v0.98 Discussion Forum / Re: Anim8or and Windows 7

In both Vista and Windows 7 I have found that putting a check on Disable Desktop Composition works on my desktop with a Nvida card and my laptop with an Intel graphics chip set.

How to......
Right click on anim8or.exe
Select Properties
Select Compatibility tab
Check off Disable Desktop Composition

If you you want you can also elect to run it  in XP sp2 mode.

My desktop runs Vista 64bit Ultimate and the Laptop 32bit Windows 7 Premium.

Here is my latest model created with Anim8or.
More can be seen here: http://yankeeclippersmobile.com/Orbiter/fleet.html

(Not spam as there are no links, ads or other money making things at my site. I gain nothing from you looking at my Anim8or model pictures.)

Later,
Jon
