I've started modeling by starting with a single point and using the line tool then filling faces in the desired areas.

i'm wondering if there's a version 0.1 floating around somewhere. I haven't had any luck locating one though...

hmm... well that's strange. It seems like the file on the disk must have gotten mis-named.

here's an actual v0.6 that I tracked down. this is the real deal.

even way back at version 0.4, it was still quite a well made program.

I hope Steve doesn't mind me uploading it.

To Steve:
I'm wondering if you have any copies of version 0.1 kicking around. I've always wanted to try it out.

send me a Pm with a link to the site.

you may need to upload all of the files and try to preserve the folder structure.

Anyone have any old versions of anim8or kicking around?

I found a version of 0.4 on a diskette in my basement. It brings back memories of my firs foray into the world of 3D.

yeah, being able to set global overrides for bone limits would be great!

try to make the speed of the movement consistent with the stride. he loks a little like he's sliding right now.

other than that, it looks good.

you probably interrupted the save process or the drive you were saving to didn't have enough space(I lost some work that way once).

Anim8or doesn't check to see if you have enough space to save, so be careful.

try going to View>preferences and looking in there. there's 2 checkboxes for textures, one for the viewports, and one for the output

also check to make sure you still have your video card drivers.
