i need a scipt that will reduce the number of vertexs in a complicated model so it takes up less graphics memory

I am making a 3D MMORPG with game maker(it can be done). Any way I am able to model basics like furniture and buildings and such, but I am having a lot of trouble with modeling humans for my game.
What I need is someone to help me with basic human male and female models. Yes you will get credit for the models.
