Been forever since I posted! I work with 2D animation now but every once in awhile I mess around with Anim8or. Actually getting ready to start on an Anim8or project so gonna start making some posts and learn some new stuff. But here's a sample of my current project.

Can't say that it's that practical on mobile touchscreens if you don't have a digitzer pen with buttons on the side since you won't have much precision when using your fingers. I don't use Anim8or that often but it seems to work alright on my graphics tablet. Just ignore the end of me failing selecting the lines because my cursor isn't as accurate as I thought it would be.

I always run into this problem when skinning. I made sure to color in all the lines so I can attach it to the bone but there's always bits that get stretched out. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Edit: whoops forgot pic

Haven't been on these forums in a long time since I rarely use anim8or (did use it to make this purposely bad animation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=M8X5Q7M4UZk#t=71s) since I'm now practicing 2D animation. I can probably do storyboards, ideas, and what not though can't say that my Anim8or skills are swell enough.

Edit: I also can be useful at video editing & graphics

Finished Works and Works in Progress / Halo CE Assault Rifle Attempt...
« on: September 12, 2012, 09:50:13 pm »
Hello Fellows,
Made this several months back. Was learning on how to create weapons using a referenced image. Thought the assault rifle from the first Halo game would be simple to do.

Creative and motivation down, but I lack good modeling skills. More better at graphic designing.

Though it's not like I'm going to be doing big projects. I now just use Anim8or to make intros plus when I render it out all together since I put everything together in Sony Vegas Pro it won't take as much space.

I would always just render the default resolution. Rendering HD for me would cause Anim8or to crash for me when i render as AVI. Never tried .bmp.

Thanks! A lot easier than rendering in AVI without the hassle of Anim8or crashing and virtualdub works great.

I'm making a new intro and trying to find out how to render better quality.
Here's my current intro

you can see how blurry it is and how the lines are a bit jagged. Is there any software or video compressors I can use to get better quality?

Funny thing is that I never read the manual. I just did the walkthrough tutorials on the site.
