Extrude Connected works much better now. Thanks for doing that. I still wish there was a way to avoid having to clean up faces that become inverted when extruded toward one another. Might it be possible to add an option to automatically merge any new points that pass within a certain proximity of one another during extrusion?

I haven't been able to spend much time with the new Anim8or builds, so I did this just to try out 1229.

As for face reduction, what did you have in mind?
Maybe just a function that, with multiple faces selected, deselects faces that share a point or edge with an unselected face--sort of the opposite of shift+G.

In object mode, I have noticed that if, while faces are selected, you toggle between face select and point or edge select, the selection grows. Is this the intended behavior? On a similar note, what about including a function to reduce face selection?

Show Object only affects Figures.  It's used to make the bones easier to see.  Show Axis only happens when you are editing bone angles and shows only the selected bone's axes.

I hope this is posted in the correct place: In build 1222 scene mode, show object and show axis buttons don't seem to be working. (Also true with build 1227.)

My paint is more for painting and drawing rather than image manipulation.
You are correct, Cooldude234, My Paint is not a bitmap editor. Neither is Krita. I just wanted to present a range of options for making textures.

Another bitmap editor that is worth considering is Photoscape. It's somewhat limited but very easy to use.

Sorry, I missed the point. I used Gimp to swap the colors in your image, but as RudySchneider said, you could use IrfanView or XnView just as easily.

One simple way to create a texture is to take a photo with a digital camera, and then open it in a photo editor to adjust it as required.  A really good program for hand-painting textures is Krita, a free program that you can download here:https://krita.org/download/. My Paint is another good free program. It is very easy to use. Here is a link:http://mypaint.org/downloads/

It seems to cut of the top half of Anim8or's menu bar...

Actually, This only happens if the Anim8or window is maximized when F11 is pressed. Otherwise it works perfectly.
