I'm having trouble trying to figure out which are the best compression settings for rendering avi's out of anim8or. Can you guys tell me what settings have worked for you and any tips that make rendering avi's faster while preserving quality?

I hope I can get that good one day...

Yes this looks alot better. You can smooth the edges on the model by selecting the edges that are to sharp and using the bevel tool.

Very Cool :)

Wow that's really impressive! So do you paint your own textures or do you use photo's for texturing?

I love how you work so well with low poly models. You should seriously post a tutorial on your modeling and texturing methods.

It looks like a very good start. The edges of your render, however, are jagged. You can stop this by turning on the antialiasing feature for rendering. Nice job though and keep posting!

Very nice method. I wouldn't have that about that myself. Looking forward to the final result!

General Anim8or Forum / Animating a Multi Stage Rocket

I have a problem...

After creating a multistage rocket in anim8or, I planned to then make an animation of it taking off. However, when I got to trying to animate it, I wasn't sure how I was supposed to make an animation of the rocket separting in its various stages during takeoff.

Does anyone have some advice on how to animate such a thing?

Did you create your own textures or did you use anim8or's inbuilt texture tool? It looks really nice by the way.

I really like the details you put on the launch structures in the pictures with the rockets
