Are you in the Camera view in scene mode?

If not, make sure num-lock is on, and press the "1" button in the num-pad. And it'll get you the camera view, everything should work.

If you are in that view, then I'll fool around with it later and see if I can find anything.

Yeah, thanks, guys. :)
I'll check them all out.

I think I'm set on learning basic/DarkBasic. :)

Yes! This is my kind of challenge!
I'll get right to work. I have a great idea...

STAR FOX!! My favorite video game franchise.

But other than that, yeah, Star Wars.
I'm not too sure about many more...

That's sad... I wish it wouldn't happen...

I already have the installer for version 7 free, but it won't work on our computers, so I guess I'll wait for a better computer till I can enjoy Truespace...

Um, no... :P But I'll see if I can download it. Why?

You're welcome. ;)

I know I'm double posting, but it's been a while, and I really need to know of a game engine/maker. :(

I was just wondering if anyone had read my last post in here and knew of anything?

I'm willing to help. But I'm terrible at animating... Sadly. I'm learning though! I'll try to do a few of the models and someone else may want to do the animating!

Also, I sort of understand Chris's ideas. :)

I've wanted Copy and Paste in Scene mode for quite some time! It's so annoying to go do it over and over again when you need to add more of the same object.

Well done, neirao! I like your explanations! :)

Thanks, Arik, I'll look into it.

Irrlitch.. I've heard of it, I'll check it out. ;)

Here's my example:

Thanks in advance for more responses!

General Anim8or Forum / OLD 3D Space Shooter Game Engine?
« on: May 09, 2009, 07:16:29 am »
Hey, does anyone here know of a space shooter game engine or anything like that from the early or mid 1990s? I really need one for something I'm working on.

Also, I'd like if it supported a semi-popular format..

I won't tell what I'm doing with it until it is finished! (Which is getting the engine)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. :)

Isn't this challenge over? It's past May 7th.

But as long as it's not over, I better do some rendering. I already have the animation. Just been holding off on rendering because of my Star Fox obsession. Been writing fanfics.

But I will try to enter this one, guys. :)

I really did! I modeled the Pizza Palace after a brochure of Domino's. :P

The stadium and press box now... That was very, very fun. Because I made it during NCAA football season (MY team is Alabama for anyone who wants to know) I would make huge updates every time we won, (which we went 12-0 last year in regular season, so I worked on it every week)

I may show the stadium here some time. The grand stands are very crappy though, I could probably make better ones now. I need to sort out all the textures and I might show here soon. :)

Finished Works and Works in Progress / Pizza Place, and Press Box

As Arik said he'd like to see it, here I am. :)

Pizza Palace needs the texture provided.

Press Box needs nothing.

Feel free to do whatever you want with them both. They're officially anyone's. :)

I made these in October-November of last year. :) I had lots of fun making both of them. The Press Box goes with a stadium I made. But that's mine! Heehe. :P

EDIT: Ah, yes, and if anyone does use one of those models in a project, please drop me a PM or email at Thanks!

ASL Scripts / Re: ASL Editor [version 2.0 is out!]
« on: May 04, 2009, 06:26:15 am »
A little question, why does it need .NET Framework 3.5? Or .NET Framework at all?

I might actually try to make a script now!

Thanks, Kubajzz! Good job and keep it up! :D
