Care to expound upon "creepy"?
Imagine crossing the tracks and seeing that face rushing towards you. D:

Well, no. However, animating fingers is quite the same as animating other parts of the body, but you should have at least two 'knuckle' loops on each finger to make realistically moving hands. As you might notice, for the Woman in Red I got lazy and only made one knuckle loop per finger. I'll probably update that sometime.

Rigging fingers was probably the most straight-forward section to rig apart from the eyelids, but it takes ungodly amounts of time to do so. :(

Also, thanks for the comments. :)

I've used anim8or for a long time, but since I've passed on to using blender. However, I feel since anim8or is where my skills as a 3D modeller (<--Canadian spelling :P) first took root, I'd like to post this work of mine here instead of a blender forum.

This took me a few days to complete, and I was a little surprised myself I didn't use any subdivisions, yet managed to clock in 2679 polys.

Well, sorry in advance for the massive image sizes. :S

I actually used anim8or for a PowerPoint presentation at my high school too. :)

What I did is add videos of various 3D models to my presentation... I actually use OpenOffice Impress (free version of PowerPoint), but you should be able to import videos.

In OO Impress, this is done by clicking the Insert tab, and then 'Movie and Sound'. I used the Microsoft Video 1 render codec in Anim8or at 100% quality; it should work fine in Power Point and will have nice quality.

Thanks, and glad you like it. :)

Also, wireframe:

I suppose blender likes applying fun colours to wireframe renders.

I might use this for a mod, but I just finished and I am much too lazy to implement it into a game right now.

Pretty nice looking ninja weapons. :)

Only crit I could give is the blade for the roped scythe could have some non-smooth edges.

I actually didn't use any special shaders; it's all in the texture. Also, rendered in blender.

Yup, though it's not technically for the game; I've been working as a primary 3D artist and wanted more experince with lowpoly.

I do have dial-up so I mainly shy away from uploading videos and such, but I'll link an animation vid here in a bit.

There's a long story behind why I made this, but that would take a while to explain, while looking at this does not!

What do you guys think?

Model: Anim8or
UVmapping&Animation: blender
texture: the GIMP

Korean Postcard...

~snort laugh chuckle~

I don't know if it's height is correct; I used the (incorrect) Zeratul model shown as the button for the fourth campaign.

To be honest, it's not really like I have to make things perfect, as Blizzard's design team for ingame and cinematic modellers were generally doing completely different things (ie the fact that Zeratul is black, but teal in the menus, and hydralisk spined tails).

Then again, it may just be the perspective. The shot I took had the protoss on an angle  :-\

I guess I'll put a wireframe up asap.

EDIT: Ah yes, the hand does look strange because it only has one bone for it's fingers on each hand- I should really put two but w/e.

I created this protoss not long ago, and have already made a video on it's creation. However, due to my internet speed atm I will only release the video whenever I manage to leech some wireless (probably sometime this week).

Recently Finished the entire helemt ( cept for bumpmaps)

I've been working on this for about 2 hours, whilst watching the show to make sure it is as accurate as possible. I plan to model the entire body, not just finish the helmet, as well as add bumpmaps to add accuracy & detail.

If you've never seen Full Metal Alchemist, this is what I'm working on.
