Well I've been playing with Anim8or for a while and have come up with these 7 pictures. They are just gathering cyberdust so I thought I'd share them with you!  ;D

This one uses a backround image, but its all rendered entirely in Anim8or.

This was me testing the new ART raytracer, and material attributes.

This is a render of the logo of my favorite band. Uses a backround image, but the planets are actual 3D objects.

This is just a random throw-together. The sailing ship looks photoshopped, but its actually a 3D model with a black texture!

This is a rusty robot in a forest. I don't know how he got there... perhaps he needs an oil-can?

This is really a test, but it showcases my trans-mapped rain so I kept it as an example.

And these lightsabers showcase my glowing transmap/emissive effect.

Hope you liked them, and I am always open to advice.

And anyone who would like to know how I made some of these can ask, I don't mind! :)

General Anim8or Forum / What kind of Anim8or are you?

Some of you from the old forums may remember this post that I made under my old alias of "Sega".

What kind of Anim8or are you?
This means what do you specialise in modeling? Environments? Buildings? Spaceships?

Personally, I love to model airliners like the Boeing 747-400 and I also enjoy building environments with water. Water is very challenging and fun to get it looking perfect.

So what else do we, here in the Anim8or community, like to model?

Now this only happens sometimes, but when I press either "Save" "Save As" or "Open" the program shuts instantly without any warning, resulting in a loss of work.

As I said, this only happens sometimes, and I don't know what causes it.

Sorry I can't be more specific... this is really all there is to say.

General Anim8or Forum / Question about the Anim8or workspace
« on: February 29, 2008, 04:21:58 am »
In preferences, I notice that (presumably due to my graphics card), that under the OpenGL workspace area 'Antialiasing' 'Shadows' and 'Shaders' are greyed out so I can't tick them,  and under the Renderer option I can only select 'Scanline'.

Now, my question is can I trick Anim8or into thinking I have a better graphics card, so these options are avaliable to me? System performance doesn't matter to me, I would just like to see them working.

Thanks  :)
