General Anim8or Forum / Colored Shadows?
« on: August 02, 2008, 07:07:58 pm »
I am making a cartoony type movie that looks like it was drawn an a chalk board.
Black BG with white as the characters.
It's just an experiment. But I was wondering if I could set the value of the shadows as a negative.

(white shadows)

Anim8or v0.98 Discussion Forum / 0.97 doesn't work for me
« on: August 02, 2008, 06:09:36 pm »
Every render I have attempted using ART looks either really bad or doesn't show up.
In both cases it generally takes a LONG time for the render to happen.

WinXP pro
NIVIDIA XP4000 video card
1GB ram

I have been loading models made in previous versions that looked good when rendered, but in ART the look either really bad or renders a blank white screen.

Recently upgraded to 0.97b and same result.

Finished Works and Works in Progress / Self Portrait

Self explanatory.
Since learning to use the edge extrusion I suddenly learned to do faces rather quickly and accurately.

I decided to try a bust of myself.

I also included a rotational video.

Finished Works and Works in Progress / THINK BLUE
« on: July 20, 2008, 03:40:14 am »
Well the boys in blue are moving in and out of first so I decided to make a tribute image for my desktop.

Built an entire field for the background but it looked terrible despite all efforts so I dropped it.

I moddeled the bat after a small souvenir I got at a local AA game and it had a wierd bump on the end. I added it for authenticity.

I use this for everything, from listening to music at work, watching movies, to showing off my work done in Anim8or. It was an excellent investment so I only figured it appropriate to make a model of it.

It took about a week to make (2 hours of so a day)

General Anim8or Forum / Cutting bones (possible)?
« on: April 25, 2008, 11:46:43 pm »
I made a figure and its pretty complex (but) I need it to be more complex for what I want it to do.
Is there a way to cut bones. I know I can delete a bone, but that just makes the other bones move into its former position.

If this isn't possible I'll just redesign the model or figure out a work around (BUT). I think that this would be a nice feature.
