I've started working on this USB Drive... I own a real life one and I've tried my best to get the basic shape. The pic and model are attached.
Update 2: Fixed reversed faces on clear part. Added thickness to the metal insert.

Now, I know this forum has no random or forum support areas, so I'll talk here.
1) Why is it that your signature can only have 1 character?
2) How do I remove an entire sequence (in scene mode), keep the figure, and then add a new sequence?

ok, so I'm working on this little photo type thing, and I'm trying to get these soft shadows, as in where they are dark on the insdie then fade to the plane's color. Any way I can do this without post production? Pic attached.

Yo, everyone! Long time since I've been on. Me and obiwan have begun a large scale project called PenHeadz. It's about these characters who are... Well, I like to just say they're ballpoint pens*. We're going to release in episodes, and we have a team of 3 or 4 dedicated writers, 2 animators, somewhere between 3 and 8 voice actors, and myself as the technical specialist. Our first release is planned for sometime this Summer. But for now, feast on what we have on www.dynoinc.tk.




*Each character is a different color, and I am NOT racist. Just a side note.

Hi, everyone. I'm working on an Anim8or webshow, and need to know how to construct a nice, clean EDIT: Exterior of a home. I would've used SketchUp 7, but the free version doesn't support .3ds export, and I haven't found a loop hole. Any suggestions?

ok, I saved this file (attached) as a .txt, then opened it in MWWP (also attached). What does all this stuff mean? I don't read code or ASL (except for in GameMaker), unfortunately.

Ok... I have a friend who is considering taking up Anim8or (and joining this forum!) How should I teach him what I learned? Or should I just let him check the manual, like I did?

This is a short second video about some guy in a SpaceBus on the side of Galactic-14. He is blasted out of the sky by the enemies, Demension Corp.

This is just a few of the feature I'd like to see in future releasaes, from most to least needed.

Figure mirroring
(self explanatory)

direct import of sound files
(for lip sync, background music, etc.)

Muscle based rigging system
(Bones for the object actual bones or hinges as potrayed by the ovasl for influences and colors for weights, and muscles for the objects muscles, portayed by, lets say, a circle inside that is expandable, as in the poorly drawn pic)


fluidity
(natural looking hair, water, particles, etc.)

Mr. Glanville, please consider these few requests. Thanks.

I made all of these, including names.

A Nintendo DSeLite:
DSi + DSLite=DSeLite.
Around %25 larger screen without losing portablility, easy access face buttons.

A DSlide:
DSeLite w/ sliding controller functions.
Same as DSeLite, just with slide out face buttons.

A car. Just a yellow car with a stripe down the middle.

I call dibs on Director, and I'll model some stuff.
Characters:
Brian, a young 10 year old boy and the main character.
Lilly, a small hundred year old fairy.
King (working name) Pike, the king of the (working name) Snowlands.
Consultant, an old underfed man working for the king.

   Brian is looking at a snow globe when his mom turns off the light in his room. He falls asleep with the snow globe in his hand. He awakens at midnight to find he is in a snow land. He walks around a little while, and meets a snow fairy named Lilly. Lilly brings him to the castle where he meets the king. Brian requests a way home, but the consultant comes in and tells the king that the Snowlands have ran out of Norbs, ‘the magic hairballs’. While trying to find the magic thief, Brian is also doing work for the king as payment for letting him go home in the future. Brian awakens in the middle of the night in the castle, seeing a glowing light coming from a few rooms down the hall. When he investigates, he finds that the Consultant has stolen all of the Norbs from near towns and cities and is using them for some evil scheme. Brian turns the Consultant in. He is decided guilty over theft in a court scene, and the kings has the Norbs bring Brian home. Brian awakens, at home, with the snow globe in his hand. THE END.

A guy, James Sidney on the side of IGRA is in a small space craft sent to infiltrate the Dimension base, but is blasted out of the sky. He lands on Oaran (Or-ahn) where he cataloges many plants and animals. He meets a strange, crazy robot named N.E.D. (Netrix E-working-  DioRoid). James fixes Ned, whom in turn fixes James' ship overnight, and James flys back to IGRA. The let back on this story is that I don't know where Dimension comes into the storyline. A few of VERY MANY models for this one are attached.

Yup. I've been on ANim8or for about 3 years at this point. I've tried other programs like Blender, but I can't figure out the first thing to do on it. Hope it's a good welcome here.
