Can I create groups in anim8or?   that has been my biggest problem when trying to use materials and UV...  If I have allot of polys and I want to add ONE to a material group I have to select them all.   So a group would be handy if not only to select everything in a material group quickly....OR just selecting polygroups by material, that is what I'm trying to do.

So apparently ruler isn't available in scene mode, or is there some other?....   What I'm trying to figure out is the "cad" measurements for the camera lens in scene mode..just as referenc..  In the picture below is a box that is 200 square at the end, a relative estimate with this is fine, no big deal.   Are these cad measurements standard with something?   I was wondering because am doing a project that I would like printed and noticed that cad has a measurment settings to adjust units...  If I have ALLOT to learn on this subject that is fine too.. ::) ;D

I like the idea of changing the measuring units, that would be very helpful...   On another note, back to what Kreator mentioned,  I have had a couple times where I wished I could export everything in a scene as a combined single object-just to play around with....

Kreator, I always had better luck with shadows with more/separate objects.  BUT with a forest full of PNGs that might not matter.....
