Some general questions about modeling/rendering. So, when one object is high poly, Anim8or get slow, especially when using arc rotate tool. I know all this about the poly count, but does it meens that the same result we will have in others programs, like 3dsmax, Maya e.t.c? I meen if we will take the same comlex object which we created in Anim8or and import it in these others programs, it will continue not to respond well? That what I try to figure out is if the response of program depends also of the code, the same program I meen?

And one very general request: to create a topic which will contain tips and techniques about modeling/rendering, somthing like a library, very well edited.( like the topic with the scripts)

Thank you very much!!! :) That's what i thought. All the attributes that exist, are presented on the ART's page. Just wanted to be sure, as said before. Thank you again ;)

Ok, sorry, don't beat me :D My english are not good and i can't understand some things and attributes were one of them. I just couldn't figure out how to get them work. Then downloaded all the examples and saw what exactly must to type and now i just have started trying them out. I have read the manual but the downloaded one( for the 0.95 ) which doesn't include the ART part. Because there are many guys who make plugins and other stuff for Anim8or I thought maybe there is something that I couldn't figure out and they can help . And about the manual on web, yes i have read it too and I think you meen the last sentence. Just wanted to make it sure. Sorry.:-\

Maybe the edges are so close, that them seem to be connected, but they are not. I always select the point(s) and merge them to check it up, if I have the same problem. And a sreenshot is always helpfull ;)

Hi neirao! :) I tried this and had the same result, but then realized that it's not a bug :)

When you are using the Arc rotate tool, switch to flat or smooth view of your object, it will speed up a little bit and generally try to keep your models low poly (don't subdivide them many times without reason). ;)

Line != mesh...

That's not exactly true.  A mesh consists of lines, but lines do not necessarily make a mesh.  For instance, when you create a box primitive, it consists of several lines, but in order to manipulate the points and/or edges, you must first convert all of these lines into a mesh.  Once you have a mesh, you can manipuliate points, edges, faces to your heart's content.

That's what he meens i think. Just with "line!=mesh" he wanted to say the same, like line of a mesh ;)
