wow Raxx, if it weren't for the soft shadows, I never would've realized those were 3d models. Very nice job.

I think it would be cool to have a contest to see who can model the coolest album cover.

basically, you find an album cover you like

( for example

and making it 3d

I always thought that would be pretty interesting.

I remember that same thing happened to me, I was fiddling with the debug menu(boredom) and when I rendered I got 2 random balls appear from nowhere. the same ones here

considering you described your problem as only being able to select a field of points/faces and not individual ones, perhaps you have the drag select tool ()selected, and not the basic select tool(). the select tool is used to select individual things, and the drag select tool selects a filed of them.

Finished Works and Works in Progress / Fun with grass

I've never been very good at making grass, or any other plant life for that matter. But I think this turned out.., ok.

Still pretty much a WIP, I wanted to add more grass but these old school computers can't handle anything.

Very nice model, excellent texturing too, could we see a solid/wire view so others can give more in depth crits and responses?

I also love the texture, nice and clean, about how long(estimated) did it take you to make this?
