also remember that when u paint your weights u paint the edge points. (the tiny squares that connect your lines) sometimes its just hard to reach those hard to reach places.

i think its really good.

if your going to animate it (even just a camera panning) i think ur about done.

if its a still pic i think u need a bit more.

you could explain the room itself by adding some sort of fixtures. like a bathroom, doctors office, etc. and you could have the shadow of the person who wrote the message on the floor beside it. but thats only if u want the viewer to know its recent rather than its been left there for ages.

anyway i really like the concept and it looks really good. now u just have to teach me how to texture and ur done :)

does it happen when you render the scene?

a lot of times what is on the anim8or 3d world does not match up with the render. its always good to make test renders to see what it would look like because it doesnt always match up.

the background color is not the ground. make a mesh ( a flat plane) make a material (the color u want) and apply the material to mesh. add object to scene and now you have a new ground. the background color is what the camera sees when nothing is there. so if you were to scale your ground really big and use it as a wall you would not see the background color.

a way to see what the background is to make a panoramic image and see what that does.

i hope i helped i was kind of confused with ur post to begin with.

a lot of people like to render in jpeg or bmp because incase something happends (like anim8or crashing) they will have all the pics saved. so all they have to do is render from where it left off. also you can render in sections. say u render stuff when u sleep but its going to take 40 hours to render. it just makes things easier i think.

when u save your animation render u can do it in avi but underneath the selection is a button to save in jpeg. make sure u create a folder for it. each frame is a pic so ull have a bunch of them.

scrupltris only works with triangles. get the triangulate mesh script off of the forums then use it on your model. once that is done export your model into obj or 3ds (which ever one sculptris uses) and import to scrulptris.

good luck with ur project.

dont know if this will work or not but you could try reapplying the material to your model.

great video. my problem is that i can not get the program itself to work on my computer. and the way i was using sculptris and anim8or was i would make my model in anim8or then import it to sculptris and then make my fine details and texture it there. thank you for the video though it was really good. one day i will be able to use it.
