General Anim8or Forum / .3ds made my wireframe wonky
« on: February 07, 2011, 01:23:35 pm »

When I finished my model in .an8 format, (Left) I then exported it to .3DS. I then re-opened the .3ds file to see if anything funny happened during conversion. I got the image on the right.

I tried it with multiple models, only to get the same result.

Does anyone else have this problem/know how to fix it?

I cant pay anyone, so you'll do the job for free. I can, however, make a trade. I can code things. I know HTML, CSS, and a hint of PHP. For any questions, post here please.

Very good! It looks a bit like a few Morrowind/Oblivian characters...But still...(You could put quite a few games to shame with some more high poly models)

It's freeware. I'm using a Genesis 3D engine. So it will be free.

Oh, ok. Then the ears still need to be bigger. Or perhaps you can replace the ears with horns?

Advice. Look at my game thread. Compare my wolf with your wolf for anatomy reference. More tips...

-Wolves have broad, pointed  snouts.
-Wolves have huge tuffy ears.
-Wolves tails are streight, unlike a dogs, which are usually curved.

And theres more, but thats what Googles for. Hope this helped!
