Even if you could allow anim8or to do two separate renders that we can then stitch together that would be neat. I rant into this limitation myself yesterday. Never thought I would even go that high rez but I had someone who wanted to print out a huge background.

It's here:,4647.0.html

I'll make one for the latest version and move the relevant posts to there. But in the mean time use this one.

Have you seen this tutorial

Try it to understand the basics.

Then I recommend that you read about inverse kinematics in the manual  (see sequence editor)

@all: is there an IK tutorial?

This video is based on old version of  Anim8or, and show the animation made on "sequence mode"
but, is the same way, you need goto FIGURE MODE to create your figure and add bones:

i attach some images

sorry, i dont have some video tutorial to send to you.. :)

PS: download tha last version on this forum

hii, I started using anim8or recently; but I have a problem, I followed a tutorial on how to add the bones to a model but "piece by piece" I would like to add the bones to an "entire" model without having to "tear it apart" can someone tell me how? or link me a tutorial?
I found this:
the process should be like that, but I do not understand how it is done and you can not see anything, if someone can explain it to me ... very thanks :) :)

small update

Hi All,

Steve, the last entry I could find on multi-threaded rendering seemed to suggest that 16 threads is the max by default. Is it possible to go beyond 16 threads in an8?  I did not fully understand reading the last entry on this subject.

Hi Mators,

Can a forum guru please direct me to where the ongoing Ver 1.0 wish list is located, if there is one, I imagine there is....

Search engine gave random results...

I'll delete this entry once directed..

I published a new version of the converter. This new version supports multiple materials. Sadly, after much investigation, I was not able to prevent Unity from sometimes interpolating in the opposite direction. I thought maybe inserting some extra key frames in the middle to prevent a large change in angle would fix it, but it still goes the wrong way.
