I think that I'll be having a go at this.

Open them both, and copy / paste it.

In Objects you get a list, you can copy/paste one object onto the next. The animated bird tutorial tells you the rest.

It looks very difficult to do, I wouldn't know how to go about it.

General Anim8or Forum / Re: How to make a 3D valentines heart?
« on: January 26, 2010, 11:44:21 am »
You could make a sphere, locate at centre, convert to mesh, select the right faces, and flatten them X, then merge them. Move it to the left a bit, select the bottom points, and move them down to make the point of the heart. Move the top down a bit to make the bumps on top. Mirror it. Select the flat faces on each model, bridge them, and move them closer together to make your heart. Now edit the top of the heart shape, and the bottom to make it look more heart-like. View from the left, and squash it inwards. Now Build / subdivide about 3 times.

If you use Photoshop and the magic wand to select all of the UV patterns, go into selection / modify / expand, and I usually just expand by 2 pixels. Now you can fill your expanded selection with colour on a new layer.

It seems to make the lighting work better when objects are combined.

23
You pictures are very dark on my monitor.. I can't see them.

A scene from a famous painting like the Mona Lisa, or Scream.

25
It's not finished yet.

26
It will run on any computer from the past 5 years really, I don't even have duel core fitted yet, and my Graphic card is AGP which has been replaced for a long time now. It's all modelled in Anim8or as well.

27
It's a game, and size doesn't alter the running speed of the game. I don't think it alters rendering time either, as only the visible screen is rendered. But this is in realtime.

28
Well my Sphere is huge so the bending is gone, but the stretching is visible. However, this sphere is so large that you can fly for 1000's of miles inside it, so if I scaled it down so that you could not fly so far it would look much better.

Wow.. what a model!!! It's amazing!

Pixel resolution is only for printing on paper, so you are wasting a whole load of computer memory for nothing. I have made starfields using a texture on the inside of a sphere. 2048 *1024.
