I had no idea ASL (American Sign Language) could be so diverse in its uses!   ;-)  ~ducks and hides~

Big difference there, though... anim8or pretty much always has been one guy's project giving us a fun and relatively easy-to-learn program which, while not "all that" by some standards, serves greatly and easily for introducing the concepts of 3DCG.

I love anim8or, and really never could get myself to learn anything else in the venue.

Steve, it's great to see you've been back on the scene during my "away" period.  Thanks for being here originally, and for coming back!

Well, as is, I think it looks really great with the extra ray-trace touch. I do think that giving the red surface texture a touch of bumpiness and gloss shine would give it a little extra real feel that PC board surfaces are known for.

Great to see things put into action... very cool.

I've always loved your locomotive work, Kevin!

General Anim8or Forum / Re: Can't Fill Holes
« on: October 27, 2014, 08:27:14 pm »
One thing to take Hypure's advice a bit further... if you have a hole you can't fill, and suspect you have multiple points and vertices right on top of each other and simply can't tell by seeing, BUT you are really uncomfortable with deleting anything there... select the points in that area, and Edit - Merge Points - 0.001 for the Maximum Merge Distance... that would bring the duplicate/overlapping points and vertices together, and should allow you to fill your gap.  If it doesn't work, there's always "undo," unless that was disabled.

So, Kyle... anything more become of this?

That looks great!  Do video cards really have that big sort of heat sink on them? And what about that blue area... Am not quite sure I should be tearing into my PCs to see for myself...

The fishes are great! They remind me of fishes I was making for the deep sea diver I had made way back. Sadly, I've lost all my anim8or stuff over the last 2 years. I think it was all on a USB stick that vanished a couple months ago... :-(  So many unfinished things, heheheh...

OOOOOOOO!  Crawling out from under my rock!  I had just referred someone to trying "that old anim8or program" yesterday, completely clueless to the fact that there's something beyond 97d! I came to the website after not being here for... well, looking around it may have been 2 years now!  Just to make sure things were still all available as I remember, and...

I've been out of touch with anim8or sooo long!  I had no idea Steve came out of hiding!!!

The last semi-serious endeavor I worked on was November, 2012, when I was goofing with the Doof (enschmirtz)...

Cracking into the new version now! It has been far too long...
