Thanks so much. alt+right button scales the uv map.... but not the texture:

Why?

And just how can I scale a texture? Left mouse button rotates it, right mouse button shifts it, the mouse wheel does nothing and so does Settings>Component>texture UV(no matter if that checkbox is checked or not).

I've made a forest, I don't believe I need a tutorial anymore. However, I'll search for it when I have some free time.

General Anim8or Forum / How to make a texture to repeat over a model?
« on: April 18, 2010, 03:54:15 am »
I have a 16x16 brick texture and I want it to repeat over my ruin model. But as far as I know this isn't possible, is it? Do I have to make a larger texture, or there's other way to do this?

Ok, I'll try this. And what's the use of having different objects? Everything can be put into only one.

I'm back. I'll be using anim8or to make a trailer for my game, so I need to know how to use the scene mode. I've looked at the tutorials section, but there were no scene tutorials. Please, can somebody post a link to a scene tutorial?
Right now, I want to know how to create forest - should I place every single tree manually, or there's a easier way to do this?

Umm... sorry, but I found 3d creation program created specially for game maker, so I will it from now on.

I select my object, click UV in the first mode(not sure how it is called), then from the menu I click edit UV(or something like that). Then pops-up a window with a number of option for rotating, scaling, flipping etc. UVs.First, I entered 5 xscale and 5 yscale. The texture become larger. After that 1/5 in both. There was no change.

I have this problem again, and this time my solution don't work. For some reason scaling don't work and I don't want to alter my texture.

I'll try to make a decent caveman and several dinos and then I'll see how good cre8or is.(I'm still making my 3d rpg with gm, this is side project).
I want any tips and advices you have to improve this model and my expierence with anim8or.

Ah, it's nice to see that you're not the only one GM user using anim8or.
