Did you try the shell tool in Anim8or yet? Might save you a bit of time.

Well, then I guess that this is one for the weird files. When I try to open it, Anim8or just says "Anim8or has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." It stops trying to load and can only be closed. I'll try moving the textures that I'm using one at a time until I find the problem. Thanks for the speedy response.

Got a project I'm doing for a friend. Unfortunately, it got corrupted. I've tried finding the error, but I don't know enough about the language used by Anim8or. Could anyone please check this file for anything screwy? Her final project is due Friday, so time is of the essence.

Anim8or Challenges / Re: [ COMPLETE ] Challenge #9: Bust-a-Move

Thanks. I really enjoyed this competition. I know I tried to worm my way around the organic quality, but I've learned from this. I like the idea of challenges that are challenging.

I just realized something. This is my first winning entry in any 3d contest EVER. Dreams do come true.

Edit: Can't wait for the next challenge, if I can find time for it.

Amazing and mind blowing fractals in 2d, 3d, 4d+; hyperforms; 4d+ Platonic Solids and Archimedean Solids. If you have no idea of what I'm talking about than you need to see it with your own eyes.

Also, how do you "loop cut"? I've seen it a lot, but don't know exactly what to do. Is that just another name for the cut faces tool?

Either knife tool and cut a loop in your mesh, or select a complete ring of edges in your mesh. Then go Edit>Loop Cut or use shortcut l (lower case "L"). Go back to object edit mode and the 1 mesh should now be 2 unconnected meshes at the selected edges.

Modeled, rigged, morphed, and rendered. Just deciding if I want sound or not.

Anim8or v0.98 Discussion Forum / Re: sequence editor in scene mode

Just a quick thought here. Why not make both fighters 1 figure? Off the root bone, put 2 faux telescoping bone sets branching in 2 directions, and each is the base for a fighter. Never tried this, but I don't see why it couldn't work.

Took me a bit to figure it out too. Make your morph in object mode, add the object to a figure. When you add the figure in scene mode, one of it's controllers should be the morph target. If it's not listed, go back to the object in object mode, then back to scene mode. If it's still not there, save, close, and reopen anim8or.

Hope this helps you out.

Here are the wires you asked for rellik420.

I have no real experience making ears, but I'm learning. I am starting to try and flesh out the cheeks and jaw now. Cross your fingers.

Sorry for the double post. Got a lot done today. A LOT. I'm still not happy with the definition around the nose or chin line, but I think it's looking good otherwise.

I'm loving your half wire renders. How exactly are you doing that?
