Classic arc rotate is broken in perspective view.
Ian Ross has just released a book on Anim8or. It's perect for a beginner and a good reference for experienced users. It contains detailed chapters on every aspect, with many examples. Get your own copy here: "Anim8or Tutorial Book"
2. Should this new mode be added to the existing Edit Bone tool (hot key 'E') or be a separate tool?I believe it should replace the Edit Bone tool eventually, because once multi-joint editing is supported, you'll have the exact same functionality in both tools, only performed in slightly different ways.
I remember when we had a short-lived Skype group a long time ago that eventually died. The same will happen with the discord.
Point Editor: Implement Edit->Rotate->Rotate commands. This is a very welcome improvement, thanks!
It's a neat addition to the original!Yes, it's great as an addition, but not as a replacement. Steve, if you decide to keep it, how about retiring the camera tilt from arc rotate and making it available only in track ball mode?
the " Select Face Edges " command was removed, though it's still usable in Point Editor through its hotkey "t". Can you restore it ?That's taken care of by the Extend Point Edge Face Selection option now.
